A Good Camera

As I look through many food blogs I find there is usually a "photography" tab, and did not realize until recently the importance of posting good pics of your foods.  I own a good Canon Powershot SD970 Digital Elph camera that I have been pleased with for 3 years now.  However, before ever even starting my food blog I've been looking to upgrade.  I love to take pictures of my kids, and would really just like to have better quality and do a little more in that area, not professional level though.  I want to own a nicer camera and have just enough knowledge in photography to capture good moments in my family on a quality level.  I've had my eye on the Canon t3i for a few months now, and I'm pretty sure that's what I will buy once I'm ready.  I use my camera for our family videos as well so this is a catcher for me on the t3i.  I really hope to purchase this soon and will make updates to this page upon learning more, but until then I will do my best with what I have!
